Join our first photography competition with your best 3 photos and get exhibited at the Images de Marque gallery in the old town.
You don’t have to be a famous (or rich!) photographer to exhibit your photos in a gallery:)
Our partner Images de Marque Gallery is opening its doors to Geneva Photo Club to exhibit YOUR PHOTOS from Sep 1 to Sep 12.

Who can join: This competition is open to all photography enthusiasts and professionals based in Geneva region.
Price: 40chf / photo (20chf / photo if you are previous student) to cover the costs of printing and the gallery rental.
Every person who joins the competition will get a 40chf discount (20 for previous students) to use for a future photography training by Geneva Photo Club (*).
How will it work?
Send your photo(s) before Aug 20th
A panel of Geneva Photo Club instructors will select 50 best photos from your submissions.
The selected photos will be printed (30cm x 45cm) and offered for sale in the gallery during the exhibition. The remaining photos will be shown in the next room.
Every visitor to the exhibition will vote for their top 5 photos during 12 days.
Top 5 best photos chosen by these votes will receive fantastic awards from our sponsors during the closing party of the exhibition on Sep 12th evening.

Conditions
- No watermarks / copyright signs should be visible.
- There is no theme required for your photos – you can send your top 3 photos. For the exhibition, we will sort the winner photos based on themes.
- If you have a person clearly identifiable in your photo, you need a model release to offer it for sale. You can still submit your photos for the competition, and you can still win the prizes. Example in english and in french.
- Maximum 3 photos per person.
- Ideally full size, minimum 2000 pixels wide long edge. Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, TIFF. Color space: sRGB.
- You will always keep the rights for your photo. We will not use it for any commercial purposes.

What happens next?
After Aug 20th deadline, our instructors will get together and vote on your photos. Based on this voting, 50 photos will be selected for printing and the owners will be notified.
The winner photos will be printed on fine art paper (30cm x 45cm) and will be glued on Dibond for hanging. During the exhibition, they will be offered for sale at any size and or any application (HD metal prints, acrylic glass, etc).
If your photo is sold, the gallery will handle all the printing and you will get 50% of the sale price. If your photo is not sold, you will keep your print.
During the exhibition, visitors will be able to vote on their favourite photos. Based on these votes, we will determine the winner photos who will get prizes from our sponsors.
The remaining photos will still be shown in a separate room and will be able to get visitors votes during the exhibition.
