Course Info

Swiss Photo Club’s medium and long term photography classes are designed to prepare our students for a fruitful career in photography. The classes cover all the essential disciplines of photography, plus the business side, with a focus on Switzerland specifics. Students will receive a diverse and in-depth education in photojournalism, commercial photography, documentary photography, outdoor photography, fine art photography and much more.

With each discipline taught by a dedicated expert, the students will have exposure to a variety of styles and experiences to develop their photography careers on.

Every workshop concludes with each student completing a personal project that reflects the genre of photography in which they have the greatest interest. Upon completion, students are equipped with a portfolio of extraordinary images, technical know-how, refined artistic awareness, and a real world understanding of the photography industry.

The 4-Week Photography Workshop covers all the essential disciplines such as Photo I, Imaging I, Vision & Style I, Ways of Seeing I and the shooting lab for practice. Total of 114 hours.

The 8-Week Photography Workshop covers two times more hours for each discipline vs the 4 weeks, to allow for much more practice in each. In addition, this workshop also includes shooting lab using studio lights and an introduction to the business of photography I. Total of 228 hours.

The 12-Evenings Photography Workshop covers all the same disciplines as The 4-Week program, but workshops take place in the evening after your work. Total of 114 hours.

The One-Year Photography Program covers all disciplines up to level II, plus the production and the exhibition of a personal project for each student at the end of the year. A real full fledged offer of more than 1000 hours. We also offer a DSLR and a lens that will be yours to keep.
